annual (2nd annual actually) benefit show to collect food for Hopelink Food Bank. The show is free. Just bring some canned food or
maybe even a few bucks for Hopelink! We will have singer/songwriter Marc Fullbright opening for us. Show starts at 7:00 pm!
We are Mixing!
December 5, 2010
It's been a long road but we are finally mixing the record. It is turning out well. We are still shooting to have discs pressed before Christmas. We'll keep you posted!
Recording, Recording, Recording
October 20, 2010
Ahhh! The joys of endless recording. We have been working on this record since summer and we still aren't finished.
We did too many shows which kept us from working on it. Then we had a million other things come up. Not to mention,
we have a ton of instruments to record, so it just kept taking longer. But don't worry, we are almost done. In fact,
we think we can have this finished by Christmas. We are happy with the direction of the sound so far and excited to
finally be able to show everyone what we've been working on. Look for more information later next month.
Going into the Studio
June 21, 2010
For the many of you who have been asking about where you can get access to recordings of our latest songs, we've finally get a real
answer for you. This week, we go into the studio! We will be recording an EP over the next month or so. We are planning on
doing 6 songs right now. We hope to have them mixed and out by later this summer. More to come as we get closer to pressing
the CD's!
Had a BLAST at Folk Life 2010!
June 5, 2010
Man, we just had a blast at Northwest Folklife 2010! We're so great for the opportunity and the turn out! Wow, the Vera project was
packed and there were a lot of nice things said to us afterwards. We only wish we could have played longer. We were just getting
started when our time was up. But the Vera Project was nice enough to actually record most of the show and it is available streaming
free here:
http://listen.nwfolklife.org/listen/festival/8
Just scroll down to the Vera Project Stage and click on the little speaker icon next to Railyard and the sound will start playing.
